A trusted strategist, advisor, speaker, and coach, Chris is passionate about helping organizations create environments where people feel valued, connected, and empowered to contribute at their highest level. In addition to being the founder of CenterShift Strategies LLC, Chris has served on numerous non-profit and civic leadership boards.Â
Over the past 15 years, Chris has partnered with healthcare systems, Fortune 100 companies, law firms, government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations to strengthen leadership capability, improve employee experience, and drive meaningful organizational change. He previously served as Vice President of Equity, Culture and Community at Midwest based St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Chief Inclusion Officer at FBT Gibbons, and as national Director of Inclusion and Interim Chief Inclusion Officer at Fortune 50 Humana. Across these roles, he shaped community engagement initiatives for more than 65k employees, advised leaders across international markets, and contributed to Humana’s rise into the Top 10 companies for workplace performance, philanthropy, and employee engagement.Â

As a first-generation college graduate, Chris understands the profound impact that leadership, opportunity, and support can have on a person's trajectory. Advice to your younger self?
Stop trying to prove you belong. Spend that energy becoming so good they can't ignore you, because most of the limits you see aren't real. They're someone else's expectations.
